Now What?
This question is for the writers: Now that you have acheived your dream with getting the phone call, tell us what happened next for you interms of emotions and work. Curious. it't the reason for the Now what.
Hi, Dyanne. Let's see when I heard that the book was accepted, curiously I felt...deflated. Isn't that weird? But then when reality really kicked in, I got excited. I got back to work (really, you're usually always working)to finish my next masterpiece!
I totally understand what you're talking about. The first book contract I had (the book was never published) I wondered why it was accepted and immediatley begin to feel that the book would not be published even with the contract in my hand. And it wasn't
